Host-routed habitats

Situated Garden is multi-tenant by Host header. The default world portal host (the Clearing) is the.symbolic.ecology.i.am.situated.in. Other valid hostnames are treated as Habitat instances within a biome (root domain), with soft linguistic validation feeding fitness rather than blocking entry.

Persistence model

Neon Postgres stores append-only events, habitat elements, links, watering events, gardener actions, compactions, and a Yjs snapshot mirror for collaborative sync. Vercel cron routes handle decay and compaction.
